A Tribute To My Summer

We painted that summer

With friends by our side. 

We covered ourselves in colors and smiles and sweat.

And we did great things that summer

With brushes and paint

And tape and plastic

And razors and paper

And buckets and bristles

And water and chisels 

And caulking and singing

And ladders and love.
